Corman Settlement: Paterno’s Wins Restored and Consent Decree Replaced

The NCAA announced that it has reached a settlement in the lawsuit filed by State Senator Jake Corman and Treasurer Rob McMord. The consent decree, and thus the sanctions, have been replaced with a new agreement. The 112 vacated wins have been restored and Joe Paterno once again has 409 wins. The NCAA also agreed to keep the $60 million fine within the state of Pennsylvania to benefit victims of child sexual abuse.
