DOTD: Penn State Athletics Wants You to Pack the BJC…For an Away Game

Penn State basketball travels to East Lansing, Michigan to take on legendary head coach Tom Izzo and his Michigan State Spartans at the Breslin Center tonight. Penn State athletics thought otherwise, however, and would like you to come pack the Bryce Jordan Center tonight to show your spirit — assuming you’re admitted access — and root on the Nittany Lions.

On Tuesday night, Penn State athletics mistakenly sent out a tweet promoting Wednesday night’s game as a home game, apparently forgetting that the game will not be played anywhere near University Park.

Penn State hoops decided to join in on the fun, reminding fans that absolutely nothing will be going on at the Bryce Jordan Center, and that they can save themselves a wasted trip and just watch the game from home. That is, if you can bare it: the Nittany Lions have lost five straight after starting the season 12-1.

We’re not sure how Penn State Athletics botched this one, since you’d think it would catch its error while it prepared the graphic for the tweet, but it’s an enjoyable error nonetheless. Ignite the bus.
