DOTD: Leah Still Shines On The Runway At Fashion Week

With the recent plummeting temperatures and sub-zero wind chills hitting the Northeast, we could all use a little warmth. Here is a little something that should brighten up your day, and fill your heart with that fuzzy feeling. Leah Still, daughter of current Cincinnati Bengal and former Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still, is still fighting a courageous battle against pediatric cancer. While her bout may not be over just yet, she’s out to show the world that cancer will not be slowing her down anytime soon.

She looked like a natural

Guitar in hand, Leah donned a plaid blue shirt, complimented by navy leggings and a matching puffy jacket as she strutted her stuff down the runway like a professional. She was met with roaring applause as she approached the end of the walkway, stealing the show–and the hearts of those in attendance at the packed Lincoln Center– as part of the Nike Levi’s Kids Rock show.

Leah’s courageous battle with cancer has been well documented, as her story swept through the nation, captivating millions and serving as an inspiration to children everywhere fighting pediatric cancer. Her father’s devotion, coupled with her significant progress against such a terrible disease was the feel-good story of 2014, amid much negativity relating to off-field NFL drama.

Leah continues to inspire, and with her most recent appearance, she’s out to show everybody who’s winning the fight.
