There are two guarantees in the BJC on THON weekend: loud noises and bright colors. Every year, a few T-Shirts stand out in the neon sea. We’ve put together a collection of the best of the best, shirts that were creative, funny, punny, and just straight up cool-looking made the list.

Sigma Pi and Delta Gamma

These salmon tanks allow members of Sigma Pi and Delta Gamma to move freely and cheer their dancers on. Sleek, clean, and functional.

Delta Tau Delta and Delta Zeta

Members of Delta Tau Delta and Delta Zeta are superheroes to their THON children. Who wouldn’t want to be Batman?

Penn State Schuylkill

Apparently, Penn State branch campus Schuylkill does not mess around with its T-Shirt game. One of Dr. Seuss’ most famous and inspirational quotes adorns the back of the black-on-pink shirt. Simple, yet effective in reminding us why we’re here.

Penn State Off-Campus Student Union

This year, Penn State’s OCSU is sporting “we mustache you to hep us beat cancer” tees. The committee hopes to give spectators a chuckle while showcasing their org and, most importantly, keeping THON’s mission in mind.

Penn State New Kensington

As expected, Disney makes an appearance on this list! The branch campuses brought their A-game this year. High scores in the creativity column to Penn State New Kensington for shirts adorned with Buzz Lightyear and a great Toy Story pun: “To infinity and be THON’d.”

Alpha Chi Omega and Pi Kappa Phi

AXO and PiKapp are wearing “Fight Like a Kid” tanks. Their powerful message is loud and clear, with boxing gloves in the center.

Lambda Chi Alpha and Alpha Sigma Alpha

Lambda Chi Alpha and Alpha Sigma Alpha’s THON child Julian loves firetrucks, and they want everyone to know. This weekend is for him, and we love when shirts are FTK.

Alpha Delta Pi and Theta Delta Chi

ADPi and TDX are making their THON child Gavin beam all weekend: They are wearing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tank he personally picked out. Great choice, Gavin.

2. Delta Upsilon

The men of the Delta Upsilon fraternity are making it clear that their THON child Daniel is a future NBA star. He puts Michael Jordan to shame on these tanks. Daniel: Penn State could use you to play some Power Forward.

Kappa Delta and Beta Sigma Beta

Kappa Delta and Beta Sigma Beta went the extra mile for their THON child Andy this year. “Andy loves birds,” said KD sister Maryanne Valentine. They designed it and let him pick it out, making him the center of attention throughout the process.
