Fox Sports 1 Names Penn State Student Body Its ‘Best Person In Sports’

By now we all know that ESPN talking head Keith Olbermann made waves yesterday after getting into a ridiculous anti-PSU spat with a few people on Twitter after being linked THON’s total. This is not Olbermann’s first documented incident with Penn State; you may recall him naming Penn State his “Worst Person In Sports” at the end of his show, “Olbermann” that airs on ESPN2.

Well, Keith may not appreciate Penn State, but at least somebody does.

Fox Sports 1 gave Penn State and THON a nice shoutout in lieu of Olbermann’s ludicrous comments, naming Penn State’s student body as its “Best Person In Sports.” It’s nice to see somebody coming to Penn State’s defense, especially from such a large and respected sports news outlet like Fox Sports.

Plainly said, Mr. Olbermann got what was coming to him after receiving a week-long suspension from ESPN — which also issued a statement regarding the comments. Enjoy your week off, Keith! Maybe next time you’ll think before you spew your biased hate on a public forum.
