Classes Canceled For Remainder Of The Day

It’s a March Miracle! Due to dangerous weather, all activities and classes are canceled for the remainder of the day at University Park, according to a PSU Alert.

Students were dismissed at 4 p.m. and faculty and non-essential staff will be released at 4:30. Staggering departure times will help to ensure facilities remain open until students are able to return home, and will help spread out roadway congestion. The alert urged students and employees to use caution when traveling through the dangerous conditions.

Normal activities are scheduled to resume at tomorrow at 6 a.m. tomorrow. Another alert will be sent in the event of a delay tomorrow.

The sidewalks and roads around campus are draped with ice and sleet, so good call on this one, Penn State. Enjoy the rest of the day off, everybody!
