RAM Squad Takes The New HUB By Storm

With the reveal of the HUB’s news expansion, students were greeted by a series of events throughout the day. Giveaways to performances welcomed students as they entered the new addition for their first times. A standout flash mob performance by RAM Squad, however, may have highlighted these events.

RAM Squad is no stranger to performances in front of large crowds — it regularly appears at heavily-attended Penn State events, including THON.

“We just did THON, so that was a bit of bigger stage,” said its vice president Jennifer Massent. “Regardless, we always have the pressure to kill it as a group, which is the most stressful part.”

After performing at the initial groundbreaking ceremony for the HUB expansion a few years ago, Massent said that RAM Squad feels it has come full circle. Monday’s performance featured interactions from the crowd and the Lion, and a high energy to keep the crowd excited. Check out the video above.
