The Best Penn State Spring Break Photos

We asked you to submit your best spring break photos showing off your Penn State pride away from campus. Here are our favorites!

Tennis Teams Take Orlando

Penn State Berks Men and Women’s Tennis teams went down south to play in Orlando, sporting their nice PSU tennis gear!

Berks

Name: Lexi Vidal

Year: Sophomore

Where: Orlando, Florida

With: Her tennis team

Favorite memory: Lexi’s favorite moment was bonding with her team all week, especially when the girls cooked a baked ziti dinner for the 19 of them one night!

After being cooped up in a gym for practices it must have felt great to finally hit the outdoor courts again. I love the PSU pride here, keep up the awesome job, and good luck this season.

Pennsylvania Crosses the Delaware

When they weren’t busy tanning and enjoying themselves on the beach, Mike Manko and his pals kept themselves busy by recreating the classic historical crossing of the Delaware River painting. SOMEBODY must have loved their American history class.

Sailing

Name: Mike Manko

Year: Sophomore

Where: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

With: Mike went to Florida with seven of his best friends from PSU.

Favorite Moment: His favorite moment was laying on the beach with his buddies without a worry in the world. “Please enjoy this picture of us crossing the Delaware,” he said.

Don’t worry Mike, we will. When’s the next ship set sail? Er, I mean, flotation device?

Lights, Camera, PENN STATE!

PSU couple Josh and Katie ditched Happy Valley for the week in favor of some California sunshine.

Hollywood

Name: Josh Simmons and Katie Dangle

Year: Sophomores

Where: Hollywood, California

Favorite Moment: Josh and Katie went to the ESPN studio to see the filming of Sportsnation (sitting next to celebrity Aloe Blacc, no less). They also very much enjoyed the hot weather in California!

This couple visited the City of Angels AND had a celebrity spotting! But come on, who’s the real superstar here? The famous entertainer or the Penn State students? Debatable.

Just LION On The Beach!

Alicia Racculia and her friends escaped the snow and hit the beach in tropical Cancun.

Flag

Name: Alicia Racculia

Year: Junior

Visited: Cancun, Mexico

With: Maggie Chan, Sarah Gassmann, Natalie Cook, Colleen Nestler, Vic Sonntag
Favorite moment: Alicia enjoyed waking up in the morning and walking out onto the beach.
Lovin’ the Penn State flag, ladies. Whether on the sunny beaches in Mexico or in the arctic cold of State College, keep waving it proudly.

PS (We’re Falling For…) U!

Literally. When you’re a Penn State student, the sky isn’t even the limit. Alina Hess and her friends visited Hawaii this spring break, where she had the time of her life skydiving. The beautiful clear skies and fluffy white clouds weren’t the only things that were blue and white that day.

skydiving

Name: Alina Hess

Year: Junior

Went to: Hawaii

With: She visited her friend Sarah Leong’s family along with her two other roommates Daina Reynolds and Shelby Coy.

Favorite Moment: Besides skydiving, her favorite moment was “cruising with all my girlfriends while bumpin to music and hanging out on the beautiful beaches!”

As if soaring through the sky reppin’ the best school on earth wasn’t a thrill enough, hanging out with your roommates and blasting your favorite songs on a tropical island is a great time, too. What else could you ask for?

***

Sunbathing, tennis, skydiving, celebrity spottings. If this summer is anything like these vacations for the rest of us, then we are in for an amazing time. But until then, make Penn State your paradise.
