Blue-White Jerseys On Auction Through Friday

Penn State fans will have another chance to snag some authentic athletic swag. Twenty jerseys from Saturday’s Blue-White game will be auctioned on GoPSUSports.com until Friday, April 24 at 5:00p.m. All proceeds from the auction will support Penn State’s chapter of Uplifting Athletes. The jerseys, though not game worn, are practice quality and are adorned with an Uplifting Athletes patch.

Penn State’s “Lift for Life,” the football team’s annual event that benefits Uplifting Athletes, will celebrate its 13th year on Saturday, July 11. A full schedule of events will be released in the near future, but more information about “Lift for Life” can be found on the organization’s website.

Uplifting Athletes pairs college football programs with one of the approximately 7,000 rare diseases, and raises funds to fight them. Current Penn State football student-athletes assume leadership positions to help lead the charge against kidney cancer.

Nebraska, Ohio State, Maryland, Illinois, and Northwestern are other Big Ten institutions with Uplifting Athlete chapters.

If you want to be Like Hack, which isn’t quite as catchy as the name of everyone’s favorite Lil’ Bow Wow film, make sure to bid on these jerseys in support of a great cause.
