Bill O’Brien And The Houston Texans To Star In HBO’s Hard Knocks

Former Penn State Head Coach Bill O’Brien will be rushed in to the spotlight this summer when his Houston Texans become the focus of HBO’s popular series, “Hard Knocks.” The series is a reality show/sports documentary produced by NFL Films and HBO that shows another layer to an NFL team while it is prepares for the upcoming season. The fiery, foul mouthed O’Brien will create great television along side former Big Ten standout at Wisconsin and current reigning Defensive Player of the Year, J.J. Watt.

It will be fun for Penn State fans to gain an inside look into how our ex-head coach runs things at the pro level. Coming from the Bill Belichick breed of secrecy, O’Brien’s sound bites can range from incredibly honest and transparent to shifty or nonexistent. Nonetheless, if he acts anything like he did as Penn State’s head coach, he will be sure to give football fans some great entertainment.

Other prospective storylines include a quarterback competition, a star running back who has a history of being standoffish and obtuse with the media, and former Penn State running back Zach Zwinak and Penn State Basketball player Ross Travis vying for spots on the team. For Penn State football fans, this season of Hard Knocks has potential to be the best yet.
