Penn State Tweaks Its Football Helmets

In an unprecedented turn of events, Penn State football has made another change to its uniforms, as first reported on by Black Shoes Diaries. After modernizing its collars earlier this month, the words “Nittany Lions” will be added to the back of the helmet.

The sleek, formerly untouched blue and white helmet has been compromised. The Nittany Lions will now have a similar style to other big college football programs, thanks to the updates to the collar and helmet.

This news comes after the announcement of the program also changing its gameday football. Like the helmet and collar, the football will have a modern, pro-style look and feel.
