Proposals For Class Gift Campaign Due Friday

by: Alissa Janoski

Gift proposals for the 2016 Class Gift Campaign are due this Friday, September 18. Gift proposals can be submitted here and are open to anyone in the Penn State community.

The WE ARE Statue outside the Intramural Building is the most recent reveal of the impact students have through the Class Gift Campaign. The 2016 Class Gift Committee is ready to see how the Class of 2016 is going to start their legacy. Executive Director for the Campaign, Ramon Guzman, says “I am excited for what our committed and dedicated class will come up with as a symbol of out eternal gratitude for Penn State.”

A selection committee comprised of university staff, faculty, and students will narrow down the proposals to the top three. Seniors will then have the opportunity to vote in October. Guzman goes on to say that “the remaining proposals not considered for voting will be given to the Office of Physical Plant (OPP) in hopes that your suggestions and ideas are heard in as many ways as possible.”

Voting for the Class Gift will take place in October.

Questions about gift proposals can be directed to Geoff Hallett, Class Gift adviser, at 814-865-0198 or [email protected].
