Music Monday: Trap Rap Edition

For this edition of Music Monday we’ve curated a playlist dedicated to “trap rap.” This specific genre of rap music is a fun culturally important type of hip hop. “Trap rap” is perfect to listen to when you’re at the gym or if you feel like burning some pent up aggression after a hard day. It is also just very interesting music.

The beats resonate with me and this playlist is special because the influences that have spurned from this type of rap have caused a generational version of some new age hip hop. So whether you are pissed about failing an exam or frustrated about how the Penn State internet may still not be working for you, listen to this “trap rap” playlist and embrace the frustration and anger displayed in this music.
