Homecoming Executive Committee Names Katie Gasior 2016 Executive Director

The 2015 Homecoming Executive Committee announced that Katie Gasior will serve as the Homecoming Executive Director for 2016.

Gasior is a senior majoring in psychology, and served as a 2015 Color Run Pride Captain for Homecoming 2015. As a captain, Gasior assisted in planning and executing the Color Run.

Gasior was selected after Homecoming’s staff advisors reviewed the applications and interviewed candidates. 2015 Executive Director Brandon Rittenhouse was also a member of the selection team and had a hand in selecting his successor, impressed with what she brought to the position.

“Katie is an incredibly impressive, intelligent, and passionate person who was proactive and dedicated throughout her Homecoming involvement,” Rittenhouse said. “She brings a unique perspective to the role, and I can’t wait to see her vision for Homecoming 2016 unfold.”

Now that Gasior is Executive Director, she will select the 2016 Homecoming Executive Committee in mid-November. The theme for Homecoming 2016 will be announced at THON, barring any changes to the typical university cycle of theme announcement.
