Penn State Football Will Be ‘Kickin’ Cancer Outta Here’ This Saturday

Penn State Football invites you to help “Kick Cancer Outta Here” as it takes on the Illinois Fighting Illini this Saturday, Oct. 31. The annual THON Football Game will take place on Halloween this year, with 50 percent of non-student tickets sales benefiting THON. In order to ensure that part of your ticket purchase is donated, use the promo code “THON” at checkout.

In addition to the traditional S-Zone, students will make a “Gold Ribbon Zone” in the adjacent section to raise awareness for pediatric cancer. This section will complement the further color-infused crowd — the game is also a purple-and-gray out in honor of Kayla Nakonechni.

In addition to this event, the annual THON Soccer game and THON 5K will take place in upcoming weeks, so if you’re looking to get involved and support the Four Diamonds, keep these opportunities in mind.

The game is scheduled to kickoff at noon, but hopefully the FTK aspect will make it a little easier to get up and get to the stadium. The only thing that could make an Illinois butt kickin’ better is knowing that fans’ attendance will also raise money for THON. We dance in 114!
