Gameday Coverage: Penn State vs. Georgia

Today’s the day, Nittany Lion fans. Penn State is in Jacksonville for a matchup with Georgia in the TaxSlayer Bowl. The Bulldogs (9-3) fired head coach Mark Richt after the season, and the Nittany Lions (7-5) fired offensive coordinator John Donovan. Both programs will have interim coaches in important positions as James Franklin goes for a second bowl win in his second year.

Here’s all of the media information you’ll need for today’s affair.

Kickoff: Noon, Eastern time.
Television: ESPN
Weather: It should be a decent day in Jacksonville on Saturday. It’s expected to be in the high 50’s around kickoff and mostly cloudy all day — still, not bad for the second day of the year.
Last time they met: Penn State won the National Championship.
Injuries: Nyeem Wartman-White and Jordan Lucas were pronounced out for the season. Carl Nassib and Garrett Sickels, who missed the last game against Michigan State, should be back at full force.
