DOTD: Dan Craig’s Circus Shot Vs. Denver Makes SportsCenter’s Top-10 Plays

The men’s lacrosse team stunned the world of college lacrosse on Saturday by upsetting No. 1 Denver 15-10. A behind-the-head goal earned Dan Craig player of the game in our recap, but also earned him the No. 6 spot on SportsCenter’s Top-10 plays.

This isn’t the first time Craig has been featured on ESPN. Less than a year ago, Craig made his way onto SportsCenter’s Top-10 in a loss to Ohio State loss after scoring on a horizontal backhanded shot while falling to the turf.

Craig had an outstanding game and wreaked havoc on the championship-caliber defense with a hat trick. He claimed his last goal from a feed from T.J Sanders as he found the back of the net with a touch of flair.

Craig is a junior midfielder from Shelburne, Ontario. Last season, he notched 20 points and started all but two games. So far this season he’s tallied nine points, five ground balls, and has started every game.
