David Glen Signs With Idaho Steelheads

Penn State hockey’s former captain, forward, and all around great guy David Glen just signed a one-year (2016-17) deal with the Idaho Steelheads, Dallas Stars’ ECHL affiliate.

During his Penn State career, Glen racked up an incredibly nice 69 points, including 29 goals and 40 assists. Last season, his 17 assists were second on the team and his faceoff prowess was crucial for overall success. He ends his college career fourth overall in program history in stats alone, but perhaps his attitude and leadership are his most important legacy as a Nittany Lion.

Glen is among the first rookies to sign with the Steelheads, joining forward Will Merchant from the University of Maine.

We really hope this works out, as a Jamie Benn/Tyler Seguin/David Glen bromance would be beautiful.
