Senator Pat Toomey Is Coming To State College August 16

Senator Pat Toomey will make a stop in State College on August 16. He’s in the middle of a tough reelection campaign against Democrat Katie McGinty, and the trip is part of a bus tour across Pennsylvania starting tomorrow.

The Republican’s RV, with the words “security, prosperity, independence” on it, will arrive at the North Atherton Champs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a meet-and-greet. The main focus of the tour is security, an issue central to his campaign. You can sign up for the free event here.

“Sen. Toomey looks forward to sharing his message of safety and security with Pennsylvanians across the commonwealth,” Spokesman Ted Kwong told Philly.com.
