James Franklin Wants To White Out The Rose Bowl

Yep, James Franklin smashed the White Out button again.

After 2016’s original White Out helped produce Penn State’s biggest upset in recent memory, a 24-21 come-from-behind win over Ohio State, Franklin has been calling for Penn State fans to White Out for every opponent, whatever the stadium.

This time, Franklin is hoping to take the Penn State tradition to the opposite coast — he wants a White Out for Penn State’s appearance in the Rose Bowl against USC.

Last time out, the Nittany Lions’ fan base showed up in Indianapolis in full force. Franklin called for a White Out and of course, Penn State’s fans did nothing less.

The sea of white on Penn State’s side of Lucas Oil Stadium was impressive and if Franklin has it his way, the Rose Bowl will be very similar despite being just a couple miles down the road from the Trojans’ home.

Maybe he finally opened that sports bar named after one of his photos, the Blurry Zamboni. Or he might just be eating chicken tenders and couch surfing. Anything’s possible.
