On top of Goodwin’s on-ice talent, he’s the quintessential student-athlete, double majoring in Economics and Spanish. In the offseason, he’s traveled to El Salvador, Mexico, and Cuba for various mission trips and to teach English to fellow students.
Goodwin leads Penn State with 21 assists while chipping in six goals through 26 games this season. He’ll extend his record number of Division I games played for the Nittany Lions (134) Friday at 6:30 against No. 5 Minnesota in Pegula.
The fan vote counts for a third of the total, so be sure to cast your ballot right here. Northern Michigan’s Brock Maschmeyer holds an early lead in the polls.
