I Spy: THON 2017 Edition, Part Two

When you stand in the BJC for 46 hours straight, there’s bound to be some slow moments. It’s time  for I Spy, round two to keep you occupied.

Before you tackle these challenges, make sure you spotted everything in our first segment of I Spy. And if you’re just getting to the BJC, burn through some time by catching up on what you missed.

1. Star Wars On The Floor

Some Star Wars fans showed how #FTK they are by paying a visit to the BJC. See if you can spot them walking around on the floor.

2. Bucket Hats

See if you can spot at least three people wearing a bucket hat; even though we’ve seen a few, this task can be a little difficult if you’re on the floor.

3. Superhero Themed Letters

Some THON partners coordinated their letters and used a superhero theme. Can you find and identify who they’re trying to emulate?

4. Abandoned Letters

The stands are looking sparse in some areas — see if you can find the letters left behind by orgs whose members are either looking for food on the concourse or are switching shifts.

5. Floating Faces

Plenty of orgs printed out giant posters of their dancers’ faces to show their support. Try counting all of them in the BJC with your friends and compare the numbers you get.

6. Pinwheel Hats

We spotted some committee members walking around the concourse with pinwheel hats. Can you figure out what committee it is?

7. Stuffed Panda Bear

If you scan the lower bowl carefully enough, maybe you can find the stuffed panda bear floating around.

8. Army Flag

Shift your focus to the upper bowl and see if you can find the “Army” flag that’s been secured up there.

9. Corn Hole

We spy a time-honored tradition taking place on the floor — that’s right, a good ol’ game of corn hole.

10. THON Selfies

Take ten minutes to look around the BJC and count how many times you see someone taking a selfie or picture #FTK to post on Instagram. Spoiler: You’ll count a lot.

11. Charging Phones

If you’re looking for a chance to stretch your legs, walk around the concourse once and count how many people are charging their phones in the bathroom. Recruit your friends and see if there’s more people charging up in the women’s or the men’s restrooms.

If anything, we hope we helped you kill at least 15 minutes with this segment of I Spy :THON 2017.
