The point guard started in all 31 games this season, registering a team-high 13.2 points per game and 4.2 assists per game to become the first Nittany Lion selected to the All-Freshman team since 2006.
Sandusky was previously housed at the Greene State Correctional Institution near Waynesburg, a maximum-security facility.
