Chipotle Partners With THON For Fundraiser September 24

Not that you need another reason to go to Chipotle, but your burrito bowl will benefit a good cause September 24.

Chipotles across the Mid-Atlantic will partner with Four Diamonds and THON on Sunday from 10:45 a.m. until 10 p.m. to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer.

Compared to last year, when the fundraiser only included Chipotle locations in Pennsylvania, the annual event has now moved outside the state.

If you go to any location in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Washington D.C., bring in the flyer above, show it on your smartphone, or tell the cashier you’re supporting THON. By mentioning the fundraiser, 50 percent of the proceeds from your order will go to the kids.

With the last canning weekend ever taking place this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, canners can stop at their local Chipotles or make it back to State College before closing to contribute to the cause.

This Chipotle fundraiser is just one of the many opportunities to support Four Diamonds ahead of THON 2018. Subway is holding its separate fundraiser all month, the “Cookies that Care” campaign, and signature THON events like the THON 5K, Family Carnival, and FTK sporting events will occur throughout the next few months.

Unfortunately, former editor Steve Connelly has graduated. Where is he now? He might be doing something related to that PR degree he got in 2019. Maybe he finally opened that sports bar named after one of his photos, the Blurry Zamboni. Or he might just be eating chicken tenders and couch surfing. Anything’s possible.
