Taylor Tote Band Wakes Up The BJC On Saturday Morning

It’s no secret that early Saturday morning is one of THON weekend’s slowest times — the stands are arguably at their emptiest and morale is low. Even with the difficult time slot, the Taylor Tote Band brought some life back to the BJC in the early Saturday morning hours. Although the performance was a bit a LOT too loud, the group did wake everyone up at the BJC.

The group started out its performance with a rendition of “In The Name Of Love” by Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha, which led quickly into “Sorry Not Sorry” by Demi Lovato. Up next, the Taylor Tote Band dished out “How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris & Disciples and “Feel It Still” by Portugal. The Man.

After giving a shout-out to everyone from New Jersey, the band launched into an original song followed by “I Feel It Coming” by The Weeknd ft. Daft Punk, “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse, and “Love On Top” by Beyonce. The Taylor Tote Band then changed pace with a rendition of “I Want You Back” by the Jackson 5.

After the throwback, the band started back up with “Locked Out Of Heaven” by Bruno Mars and a marathon rendition of “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift. The group finished off the set with “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston.
