Blue Car Takes 2-1 Series Lead In ‘Car Race’

The Car Race is becoming THON’s new signature event — pitting two ends of the Bryce Jordan Center against each other to move a sheet from one side of the arena to the other.

Blue Car fell in the opener during the first floor mopping session, but quickly stormed back to even up the series Saturday afternoon.

Now in the third matchup Sunday morning, Blue Car prevailed despite struggles around the final corner and what looked like an uncalled false start from Red Car.

We don’t even know if we’ll get another glorious duel between Blue Car and Red Car, but since there’s likely another floor mopping session before the Final Four, there’s probably at least another round of this amazing new event.

This series is going to come down to the wire, folks.

Maybe he finally opened that sports bar named after one of his photos, the Blurry Zamboni. Or he might just be eating chicken tenders and couch surfing. Anything’s possible.
