State Patty’s Weekend Weather Outlook

It’s that time of year, folks. The weather is starting to get warmer, spring break is on horizon, but most importantly, this Saturday is State Patty’s. Since there might be no bigger daylong weekend than State Patty’s, the cooperation of the weather is important.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast as of the time of this writing is quite soggy. With an expected 90 percent humidity and 90 percent chance of rain, Penn Staters taking part in the yearly celebration should prepare for damp conditions on Saturday.

The one silver lining to the weather report is that currently the rain is forecasted to start in the afternoon sometime between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. You might be in luck if you can figure our your plans for the day and get there before it starts to drizzle.

On the upside, the current temperature is a predicted high of 47 and a low of 44 degrees, which is relatively warm for this time of year.

If you’re daylonging this weekend, be careful and bring an umbrella.
