NASA Administrator, PA Secretary Of Education Highlight 2019 Commencement Speakers

In a few weeks, a new class of Penn Staters will turn their tassels to the left and become alumni. Penn State hasn’t officially announced the full list of commencement speakers for graduation weekend, but some colleges have already declared who will do the honors.

Here’s the list of commencement speakers for the select colleges that have announced their speakers, as well as the date, time, and location of each ceremony:

College of Agricultural Sciences

  • Sunday, May 5 at 3:30 p.m.
  • Location: Bryce Jordan Center
  • Speaker TBA

College of Arts and Architecture

  • Saturday, May 4 at noon
  • Location: Eisenhower Auditorium
  • Speaker TBA

Bellisario College of Communications

  • Saturday, May 4 at noon
  • Location: Bryce Jordan Center
  • Speaker: Tom Verducci, senior writer for Sports Illustrated and analyst for MLB Network and Fox

College of Earth and Mineral Sciences

  • Friday, May 3 at 8 p.m.
  • Location: Pegula Ice Arena
  • Speaker TBA

Eberly College of Science

  • Saturday, May 4 at 9 a.m.
  • Location: Bryce Jordan Center
  • Speaker: Freeman Hrabowski, president of University of Maryland, Baltimore County

College of Education

  • Sunday, May 5 at 12:30 p.m.
