KJ Hamler Flashes Skills During Denver Broncos’ Training Camp

Former Penn State football star KJ Hamler is already reminding us why he was a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The speedy wideout has opened some eyes with his impressive speed and pass-catching ability early on during the Denver Broncos’ summer training camp. On the first day of practice, Hamler laid out and made a spectacular catch on a deep ball from quarterback Jeff Driskel.

Additionally, Hamler flashed his impressive speed during a pass-catching drill.

Later, the Pontiac, Michigan native made his teammate Davontae Harris look silly with an absolutely filthy cut to the outside.

The Broncos drafted Hamler with the No. 46 overall pick in this year’s draft. Hamler, as well as fellow rookie Jerry Jeudy, will presumably step in alongside Courtland Sutton at the top of Denver’s receiving corps.

Hamler will attempt to provide the Broncos with another weapon for second-year quarterback Drew Lock. While at Penn State, Hamler proved to be a valuable weapon for both Trace McSorley and Sean Clifford. Hamler totaled 98 receptions for 1,658 yards and 13 touchdowns during his electrifying two-year career with the Nittany Lions.

It’s only a matter of time until Hamler starts making plays like this in the Mile High City.
