Podward State: Season 3, Episode 6

On this episode of Podward State, hosts Matt Ogden, Matt Paolizzi, and Sam Brungo sit down with friend of the show, Onward State alum, and photographer Oyoma Asinor.

Asinor discusses moving to Washington, D.C., and his work with the local Black Lives Matter movement, which has held peaceful demonstrations almost every day since the murder of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer back in May.

Asinor’s photography and descriptions of the protests, which you can find on his Instagram, does an incredible job offering unfiltered documentation of what is really happening in the nation’s capital during a turbulent time in American history.

Podward State releases episodes weekly and features discussions about all things Penn State, including sports, news, student life, and entertainment.
