Sean Clifford’s Touchdown Run Ranked No. 9 On SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays

Although Penn State football lost to Indiana Saturday night, there was no absence of show-stopping plays. One of the most memorable was easily Sean Clifford’s epic 35-yard touchdown run, which came in at No. 9 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays Sunday morning.

The score was the Nittany Lions’ first touchdown since the opening drive of the game. It couldn’t have come at a better time either as expired in the third quarter, making it a one-possession game entering the fourth quarter.

That run was the highlight of Clifford’s game on the ground, helping him finish with 17 carries and 119 yards. The play was also his longest of the game.

Clifford finished the game completing 24 of 35 passes for 238 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Penn State will attempt to bounce back next weekend when Ohio State comes to town for a spooky prime-time matchup. Kickoff on ABC is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and College GameDay will air live from Happy Valley at 9 a.m.
