Podward State: Season 3, Episode 12 Ft. Jordan Hill

On this episode of Podward State, hosts Matt Ogden, Matt Paolizzi, and Sam Brungo are joined by friend of the show Jordan Hill, a 2012 Penn State football defensive captain, first-team All-Big Ten honoree, and Super Bowl Champion.

Hill, a former defensive end, talked about why he chose Penn State, how he stayed at Penn State for his senior season in 2012 following the sanctions, and how Bill O’Brien impacted the program, leading the team to an improbable 8-4 season after a year of scandal and controversy for the program.

Hill also discussed his NFL career, where he won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. Additionally, he talked about the current 0-3 Nittany Lions and life after football, where he gives back to his community in a multitude of ways through coaching, operating his foundation, and turning abandoned properties in inner cities into sustainable eco-villages.
