Penn State Selling Fan Cutouts At Pegula Ice Arena This Season

There are no fans allowed in Pegula Ice Arena for the hockey season this year, but you still have a chance to see yourself in the stands.

Similar to football, Penn State Athletics announced it will allow fans to buy cutouts of themselves to be placed in the stands in Pegula Ice Arena this season.

Fans can send in a picture of themselves wearing Penn State attire. Cutouts will cost $45 for fans while active Penn State students can get one for $35. At the end of the season, the team will host one or more pick up events, depending on coronavirus protocols. In order to make sure your cutout will be in the stands by the December 2 opener, purchases must be made by Monday, November 23.

Cardboard fans have filled stadiums and arenas across the country this fall. From dogs to Robert Pattison, Beaver Stadium has been dotted with some creative and funny cutouts this fall.

Penn State hockey dropped its first two games of the season versus Minnesota and will open a series away at Wisconsin on Monday. The first home game of the season will take place Wednesday, December 2 versus Michigan.
