No. 4 Overall Recruit Jayden James Flips To Penn State Wrestling From Virginia Tech

Jayden James, FloWrestling’s No. 4 overall prospect in the recruiting class of 2026, has committed to Penn State wrestling, he announced Tuesday. James is the reigning 150-pound state champ from New Jersey.

James is a two-time 16U national champion and the reigning 150-pound champion in New Jersey. He became the second prospect to announce his commitment to Penn State this week, following Japanese freestyle wrestler Masanosuke Ono.

With the signing, James joined Sam Herring as Penn State commits from the recruiting class of 2026.

Most recently, Penn State claimed its 13th national title, its 12th in the last 14 years.
