Penn State Libraries Release Adjusted Break, Finals Week Hours

Penn State’s Pattee and Paterno Libraries will remain open and offer services to students during the remote period leading into finals week.

The libraries themselves will close from Thanksgiving Day through Saturday, November 29. Normal fall 2020 hours will be in place once they reopen on November 30 and remain open through the end of finals week.

Under normal fall semester hours, the libraries are open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. They’re closed on weekends.

After finals week, the libraries will be open from December 21 to 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. before closing on January 4.

As for the Starbucks at Paterno Library, the store will have new hours starting on Monday, November 30. It will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, with the exception of Fridays, when it will close at 4 p.m.

All virtual resources that the libraries have provided will continue to be available for students. Additionally, scheduled pickup services will be available inside of the Curtin Road entrance.

More information about services and hours that are offered by the libraries can be found here.
