Virtual THON Showcase To Take Place January 25

Penn State students will once again have an opportunity to raise money #ForTheKids and show off their talents at the fourth annual THON Showcase this month.

The virtual event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 25. Tickets to the livestream are up for sale for $5 each via THON’s website. Proceeds from each sale can be credited to any THON committee, organization, or independent dancer couple.

The show will consist of many groups’ performances recorded from home as well as acts recorded from Eisenhower Auditorium.

Each person who purchases a ticket will also be entered into a drawing to win money from First National Bank, a sponsor of THON.

The following organizations will perform in this year’s showcase:

  • PSU Crossfit
  • Tapestry Dance Company
  • The Statesmen
  • Eclipse
  • Epsilon Sigma Alpha
  • Orchesis Dance Company
  • SL Captain Committee
  • MEGgo my Eggos: DAR Committee
  • Urban Dance Troupe
  • Thespian Society
  • DoofenSchwartz Evil Inc.: DR Committee
  • Penn State Dance Alliance
  • The Singing Lions
  • JULmanji: DR Committee

Last year, Eclipse came in first place thanks to a slew of catchy performances. The org took home a $2,500 prize and an opportunity to perform live during THON weekend.
