Your 2024 Valentine’s Day Playlists

Dread it, run from it, Valentine’s Day arrives all the same.

It’s Valentine’s Day, folks. For some, the holiday is filled with flowers, chocolate, and romantic dinner dates. For others, it’s filled with hatred and fear that you may be alone forever. Regardless of your stance on the holiday, your day can be made a little sweeter with some tunes.

You may be thinking, “But Onward State, I just got broken up with and don’t want to listen to gushy love songs today!” Heard. So, we put together three playlists for whatever your relationship status may be this Valentine’s Day.

For Those Posting Pictures Of Their Significant Others On Instagram Today

Aww. *Mutes.*

Just kidding. Congrats! You’re one of the lucky ones spending the day of ~love~ in love. Just in case your Valentine’s Day isn’t sweet already, this playlist is filled with love songs that are certain to get you in a romantic mood.

For Those Who Ain’t Gotta See Their Ex-Future-Mother-In-Law Anymore

Oh lord, when it rains, it pours. If you’re listening to this playlist, congratulations! You’ve probably shed some serious dead weight. Listen to this playlist and be thankful (or angry, whatever works) that you’re single this Valentine’s Day.

For Those Who Know “Jersey Giant” Is A Sad Song

You get it. But also, who hurt you? With roses, chocolates, and social media posts captioned with declarations of love abound, this Valentine’s Day may be a little painful. Let it all out with this playlist.
