General-Purpose Classrooms Available During Remote Learning Period

Penn State students remaining on campus during the university’s remote learning period can access select general-purpose classrooms to study and take classes in as needed.

The rooms open during the remote period are included in select buildings, including Boucke, Hammond, Osmond, Thomas, and Willard.

Spaces are available from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekends. Students accessing these rooms are expected to abide by the university’s social distancing and mask-wearing protocols.

The locations of the remote learning rooms can be found on the Penn State campus map via the Penn State Go App.

Penn State’s remote learning period will run from Monday, January 18 through Sunday, February 14. After that, on-campus students are allowed to return to campus as in-person instruction resumes.

Students are also required to have a negative coronavirus test on file if they plan to return to the campus community before February 15.
