Irving’s To Remain Closed During Penn State’s Remote Learning Period
If you were trying to get your hands on a legendary Irving’s breakfast sandwich anytime soon, you’ll unfortunately need to wait a few more weeks.
The popular breakfast joint will remain closed during Penn State’s remote learning period. The store plans to reopen on Saturday, February 13.
The decision to remain closed likely came as a result of the Penn State’s decision to begin the spring semester remotely and delay the start of in-person classes until Monday, February 15. With fewer students back in State College and increased pressure on the local health system, the decision isn’t much of a surprise.
Until Irving’s reopens, Bagel Crust and Crust & Crumb Cafe appear open for business to ensure that the students back in town can still satisfy their coffee and breakfast food cravings.
