Penn State Libraries To Host Virtual Open House Starting February 1

Penn State’s libraries will host a virtual spring Open House starting Monday, February 1, through Friday, February 12.

During the hour-long events, students will have the opportunity to learn about libraries’ services, collections, and resources. Students will also be asked to perform a series of tasks to earn a digital badge upon completion.

Tasks might include watching videos, performing a search, or reading information. Additionally, students will learn a number of skills, including how to read a call number and how to use LionSearch.

This event is encouraged to be used by instructors as a way for students to score some extra points (yes, please!). Upon earning the badge, students can easily send their instructors confirmation that they have completed the Open House.

More information about the Open House can be found here.
