Nick Cardile was named a preseason third-team All-American. The graduate student was named a second-team All-American in 2020, and in 2019 was named a USILA honorable-mention All-American. In 2019, the defenseman was additionally selected to the Big Ten All-Tournament team.
Gerard Arceri and Jack Kelly were both named preseason All-American honorable mentions.
Arceri was named a USILA third-team All-American in 2018 and 2019. The graduate student holds the program record and is sixth in NCAA history with 509 ground balls.
During Kelly’s junior season in 2020, the midfielder was also named an honorable mention All-American by Inside Lacrosse and was marked an Academic All-Big Ten team member.
A schedule for the 2021 season has yet to be announced, but the team will likely begin its season at some point in late February.
