Penn State Lacrosse Releases First Half Of 2021 Schedule

Penn State men’s lacrosse released the first half of its 2021 schedule early Thursday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions start off their season at Rutgers on Saturday, February 20. They then face Maryland on February 26 and Ohio State on March 6 at home in Panzer Stadium. The blue and white then finish off the first half of the schedule with away games versus Johns Hopkins on March 13 and Michigan March 20.

After a shortened 2020 season due to coronavirus, Penn State lost many valuable players, most notably Grant Ament, the program’s all-time leading scorer and three-time All-American. Some notable returning players include attackman Mac O’Keefe, who was named a preseason second-team All-American by Inside Lacrosse, attackman TJ Malone, defenseman Nick Cardile, face off specialist Gerard Arceri, and goaltender Colby Kneese.

The second half of the season’s schedule has yet to be released at this time, but in just over two weeks Penn State men’s lacrosse will kick off the start of its season.
