Apply To Be Onward State Stud Matt DiSanto’s Valentine

Ladies, it’s the season of flowers, chocolates, and nice dinners. Are Tinder guys too freaky for you? Maybe meeting people has been hard due to the pandemic? Well, Onward State has the man for you.

Meet our managing editor, Matt DiSanto. Matt is a junior journalism major from Collegeville, Pa., but don’t worry. You won’t ever hear him say he’s from “just outside of Philly.” Plus, he used to work at a grocery store and loves to cook, so you already know he’s a dream to take home to the family.

Let’s get a look at the strapping lad:

Matt is looking for a lady who is kind, funny, and almost as passionate about the AP Stylebook and Margherita pizza as he is. Matt’s current leading lady in his life is his mom, Charlene, so you have quite the competition. Still, it’s worth a shot.

Here’s everything you might need to know about our favorite grammar stickler:

Name: Matthew Robert DiSanto

Age: 21

Height: 5’10”

Looking For: A Mario Kart partner who’s always down for a trip to Disney World (once the pandemic is done!)

Likes: Blogging, cereal, video games, drumming, volleyball, the Beatles and Dave Matthews Band, Philadelphia sports, “Seinfeld” and “Arrested Development,” and his mother

Dislikes: Soda, reality TV, yelling, and bad grammar

Fun fact: Matt’s acceptance letter to Temple wrongly addressed him as “Muhib” DiSanto — a nickname he’s fondly responded to for years now.

If you think Matt is the man for you, apply to be his Valentine today. Best of luck!
