Your Official THON 2021 (Water) Drinking Game

We’ve always got you covered with drinking games for some of the big events around campus. Whether that be Sylly Week, the White Out, or all the other events you might need to drink at, there’s a game for everything.

Although this year’s THON might be different from the rest, our drinking game is no different. Watching the livestream instead of being inside the Bryce Jordan Center for 46 hours might not seem like fun, but you’re going to need a way to stay hydrated.

So, grab your water bottle, fill it up with water, and enjoy this year’s THON drinking game.

  • When the dancers stand, take a sip. You have to start out strong.
  • Every time you hear “DANCER RELATIONS CAPTAINS TO THE STAGE,” chug.
  • Take a nice long sip once the line dance is over. You’re working up a sweat.
  • Take a drink every time “Say So” by Doja Cat is played.
  • Actually, take a drink for any TikTok song that’s played.
  • Drink for every mention of the coronavirus in the line dance. We get it guys.
  • Chug your drink when the stream crashes. Don’t stop until it reconnects.
  • Take a drink every time you start to fall asleep in your apartment. 46 hours is hard when you’re just sitting in your apartment.
  • Sip your drink for every live performance. There will be few, but we will take what we can get.
  • Crush that drink for every virtual ~floor mop~ by OPP.
  • Sip your drink if they show the dancers from their own homes. Keep going guys!
  • Chug your drink if you did the full 46 hours. (Editor’s Note: Onward State doesn’t condone nor advocate for THONing without rest. But if you do, good for you.)
  • When dancers finally sit, finish your drink.

Always remember to hydrate responsibly!
