THON 2021 Raises $10,638,078.62 For The Kids

Following an all-virtual fundraising year, THON 2021 culminated Sunday afternoon by announced it raised $10,638,078.62 For The Kids!

The total falls short of THON 2020’s total ($11,696,942.33) and doesn’t top THON’s overall record — a whopping $13,343,517.33 from back in 2014. Regardless, 592 dancers boldly stood for 46(ish) hours this weekend to help fight pediatric cancer, and that’s something THON 2021’s 16,500 volunteers should be very proud of.

Since 1977, when THON officially partnered with Four Diamonds, about $180 million has been raised, excluding THON 2021’s total. Until we find a cure, we’ll keep dancing For The Kids.

Once you’re done reading, enjoy a long night of sleep, folks. You’ve earned it. Before you know it, we’ll be back at the Bryce Jordan Center and dancing together just like the good ol’ days — all in the pursuit of a cure.
