SPA To Host ‘Drake & Josh’ Star Josh Peck For Virtual Lecture March 22

Hug me, brotha!

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) will host Josh Peck for a free virtual lecture at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 22. SPA said it’s collaborating with Hillel UP and Penn State Abington for the event.

Penn State students can use this link to register and receive a free ticket. SPA is working with WPSU Radio to stream the lecture.

Peck is best known for his role as Josh Nichols on Nickelodeon’s “Drake & Josh,” which earned him a Kid’s Choice Award nomination in 2008. He also starred in the movie “Merry Christmas Drake & Josh.” Later in 2008, Peck won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival for his coming-of-age role in “The Wackness.”

His most recent roles were in films like “Locating Silver Lake” and “Take The 10,” and the series “Grandfathered” alongside John Stamos. Peck also starred in the film “Danny Collins” with celebrities like Al Pacino, Annette Benning, and Jennifer Garner.

Aside from his acting career, Peck is an established social media star with 2.7 million Twitter followers and 10.5 million Instagram followers.

Like every SPA event, Peck’s Q&A is free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee. Students will need to verify themselves using their WebAccess IDs before entering the virtual event.
