Clue: Penn State Edition

“The Nittany Lion killed Eric Barron by Forum with a CATA Bus” is surely something you’d never imagine hearing. But now you can!

We’re back with more board games, folks. Last week, we showed you The Game of Life: Penn State Edition. Now, the suspense is coming in hot with Clue. The classic murder/mystery board game brings all the drama.

Play as your favorite Penn State personality and travel through campus to solve a spine-chilling crime. The basics of the game are the same as the original Clue. But now, the rooms are different places on campus and weapons are now wacky Penn State items.

Choose Your Player

Goodbye Colonel Mustard, hello Eric Barron! You can choose to play as Eric Barron, Sue Paterno, Sean Clifford, James Franklin, the Nittany Lion, and even the Willard Preacher. Pick whoever emulates your mood for the day and hope that you’re not the unlucky one whose murder you’re trying to solve.

The Weapons

These may not be a typical weapon used, but they’ll get the job done while keeping up the Penn State spirit. It may be absurd, but you could be killed by a CATA Bus, a sharpened dorm key, the Obelisk, a real Nittany lion, an ID+ Card, or a stolen fork from the dining hall.

The Locations

Imagine: It’s a nice day for a picnic at the Duck Pond at Hintz Alumni Center. Then, BAM! The Nittany Lion tells you to say your final words, and the last thing you see is a fork. This scenario can occur in other places, too, such as in Osmond Lab, on the IST bridge at night, the Harry Potter Room in the library, on the HUB high school musical stairs, in the garden under the Millennium Science Complex, in Redifer, on Old Main lawn, or in the Forum Building.

If you’re looking for some suspense and some nonsense, Penn State Clue will not let you down. You can check out the full game board below and download the image to give it a spin.
