[Live Blog] Penn State Football’s 2021 Pro Day

Eight former Penn State football stars will showcase their abilities to NFL scouts at Holuba Hall Thursday.

Fans can watch star Nittany Lions such as Pat Freiermuth and Micah Parsons, among several others, complete drills beginning at 11 a.m. on the Big Ten Network. The network will have live coverage of the event for two hours.

12:56 p.m. — Penn State’s workouts have wrapped up at today’s Pro Day. Keep up with our coverage of all the Nittany Lions in the lead-up to this year’s NFL Draft!

12:43 p.m. — Shaka Toney, Pat Freiermuth, and Will Fries all dedicated today’s Pro Day drills to specific charities.

12:24 p.m.

12:18 p.m. — Jayson Oweh is doing exactly what was expected of him this afternoon at Holuba.

12:09 p.m. — Former Penn State football stars are now running through some individual drills with scouts. While we’ve got some down time, why not take one more look Micah Parsons’ absurd day?

12:03 p.m. — The Nittany Lions’ stats for the day are officially official.

12:01 p.m.

11:57 a.m. — Saquon Barkley is impressed with what he’s seeing.

11:51 a.m. — New Penn State hoops head coach Micah Shrewsberry checking in live from Holuba Hall for an interview.

11:47 a.m. — Oweh continued to put on a show with his 39.5-inch vertical.

11:43 a.m. — The Nittany Lions are currently going through the three-cone drill

11:41 a.m. — Steven Gonzalez is pretty strong, folks. One rep for each NFL team!

11:37 a.m. — The players are now taking part in the shuttle drill.

11:35 a.m. — Jayson Oweh: A little bit faster?

11:34 a.m. — Micah Parsons: Fast

11:33 a.m. — Parsons put up a solid 19 reps on the bench press earlier today.

11:31 a.m. — Toney’s official 40-yard dash time is 4.51.

11:28 a.m. — Penn State defensive coordinator Brent Pry now speaking live on BTN. The coach is raving about Parsons and Oweh.

11:26 a.m. — Oweh’s official time is a ridiculous 4.36. It turns out he beat Parsons after all! Fries’ unofficial time of 5.33 is now official.

11:25 a.m. — Two 40 times are now official. Parsons officially ran a 4.39, while Wade clocked in at 4.47.

11:23 a.m. — Here are some more numbers from Penn State’s Pro Day.

11:22 a.m. — Defensive end Shaka Toney ran a 4.55, while safety Lamont Wade ran an impressive 4.47. One again, the times are currently unofficial.

11:16 a.m. — Holy smokes! Jayson Oweh ran a 4.36, while Micah Parsons ran a 4.35. Parsons just barely edges out Oweh. Both these times are unofficial.

11:14 a.m. — Offensive lineman Will Fries ran an unofficial 5.33 40-yard dash.

11:11 a.m. — That’s pretty impressive…

11:08 a.m. — 31 NFL teams are in attendance at Holuba Hall, including the Pittsburgh Steelers. Only the Los Angeles Rams are absent.

11:05 a.m. — Coming off of shoulder surgery, Pat Freiermuth didn’t participate in weight-room drills, but he will give individual drills a go, according to BTN.

11:04 a.m. —

11:01 a.m. — Eight Nittany Lions will participate in today’s Pro Day.

10:57 a.m. — We’re just a few minutes away, folks!
