Five Guys Temporarily Closed Due To ‘Mechanical Issues’

Five Guys appears to be temporarily closed, according to a sign posted to the door Friday afternoon.

The sign said that Five Guys, located at 226 W. College Ave., was unable to open Friday due to “mechanical issues.”

“Due to Mechanical Issues we are unable to open the store,” the sign reads. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

The restaurant chain did not provide any indication as to when it could reopen or how long it will remain closed.

Five Guys temporarily closed last March due to a broken water heater and subsequent, now-cleared inspection violations.
