[Photo Story] East Halls Welcomes Warmer Spring Weather

Editor’s note: Many students depicted in this photo story are *not* wearing masks. Onward State does not, in any way, condone not wearing a mask amid the pandemic. However, our staff believes there is value to accurately reporting on authentic student life as shown in this photo story.

After a long winter filled with bitter cold, mountains of snow, and the ever-growing threat of COVID-19, East Halls residents were eager to get outside and enjoy their first tastes of a Happy Valley spring.

Small groups were spaced out over the quads engaging in various sports, including volleyball and Spikeball.

It’s officially Spikeball season, folks!

Other students took to the tennis and basketball courts.

Those who didn’t feel like doing ~sports~ lounged around on blankets and soaked in the sun. Some studious students brought their laptops, too.

While this warm spell unfortunately can’t last forever, we’ll all look forward to the signature Penn State spring that we’ve so sorely missed.
